A Quiet T Day

I had a very quiet and secluded T day sleeping mostly - the only company was a migraine... hopefully they will subside now that I have more time at home...

I got this mug at our latest craft show - have seen it featured in a number of blogging friends posts and just had to join in... something to live by...

Australia is in the throes of fire season especially in NSW right now - and our screens are filled with heartbreak and destruction - people being brave and grateful that they still have each other - property can be rebuilt - but my heart goes out to them for the hard times they have ahead...

If you would like to join in for a quick chat and a cuppa - hop on over to Altered Book Lover to link up to some very creative people... Thanks for stopping by... Mxx

  1. Sorry to hear about your migraine, those can really make for a bad day. Cute mug! I didn't know about Australia, will keep them in prayers. Feel better today and have a good day, thanks for sharing!

  2. I'm like Dawn. I had not heard of the fires in Australia. Apparently the news hasn't gotten this far, especially since I watched the news last night and heard nothing about it. I'm glad you mentioned it, because now I can hopefully find more about it on the internet.

Love that mug. I hope by now the migraine has ended, although, from what I know from a friend who experiences them, they can last for several days with no relief in sight. Let's hope yours isn't like that.

I truly hope you have a lovely T today.

  3. I have been reading about the fires, so stay safe. Migraines are torture that is for sure! Hope it goes away quickly......if that is possible (mine hang for a day or two).
    Happy T-day

  4. Migraines are awful. I've only had one and hope to never again. Fun mug!
I hadn't heard about the fires... So hard to see that sort of destruction. Hope you feel better.
    Happy Tuesday!

  5. Feel better soon dear...love the mug. Keep creating is a good thing to remember...take care and happy Tuesday!

  6. Your cup is inspiring and just right.
Even here in the US we are seeing some of the news about the bush fires...very sorry for such sad and difficult times.
Take care...migraines are no fun at all...feel better soon!

  7. I've spied some owl mugs I might buy this week end, and show off next week, keep calm and carry on.... I try but other things do get in the way! Hope the fires soon burn themselves out, there's a thunder storm here at the moment! Calling in for T

  8. I just love that mug. I have seen it in a few posts--I'm looking for it in real life so I can get one, too! I cannot imagine losing everything and my heart goes out to those affected by fires, floods, etc. Hope you feel better.

  9. Hope you are feeling better. Give your feet a good deep massage, concentrate on your big toe and the base of each of the other toes~give them a good coat of a rich fatty lotion (I like shea butter or coconut oil), slip on some thick socks, kick back with your eyes closed and some nice sounds like water or birds and that should help the migraine ease back a bit if not slip away all together.
    Happy T to you!

  10. So sorry to hear about the fire season. I've seen TV shows about that, and it's so tragic. Hope your migraine goes away soon. Take care and enjoy your tea.
